Hi, My Driving License is almost split into 2 pieces by normal wear and tear over the period. Any pointers on how do I get a new one? where do i apply? any agent for this? fees?

RTO has recently initiated online registration for LL. Haven't used it personally though. http://rto.kar.nic.in |

| My license is issued by Noida RTO. Will a replacement in Bangalore be an issue?

I renewed my driving license couple of years back at the Jayanagar RTO. You can go to the RTO yourself and fill up the forms and get it done. BTW, the forms are in Kannada so you might want some help on filling that up. I got the forms back and asked someone at work. So, be prepared for couple of round trips to the RTO. |

| I had a 4wheeler license in Bombay and wanted to get two wheeler in Bangalore. Somebody mentioned that Bombay RTO would have to transfer the license to Bangalore RTO first and then issue a replacement. But again, second hand knowledge, please check at RTO. Just go to Jayanagar RTO (Complex), they have a help desk there which opens at 10AM and get your queries cleared.

| RTO office in Kormangala is in Koramangala BDA complex. But NOC for your vehicle will be given only at the RTO where your vehicle was registered.
