Can someone please suggest a good dentist in south Bangalore area in and around JP Nagar.

Dr. Vijayendra's clinic is a good place. I think it is called Dental Clinic. It is a little expensive though. This place is on the road opposite to Cool Joint (Jaynagar 4th block). This is the same road that leads to J.P. Nagar. It is very close to the Cool Joint signal. Dr. Vijayendra's phone numbers are 26630243 and 26648744.

There is one in Jayanagar 4th 'T' block. 35 th cross close to R.V Management college. Name is something like "Jayanagar Dental hospital".
I think price wise also its good.

You should go to Sagar Apollo, its not very far from BTM. There's generally a waiting line, but I've heard the Doc is good.

Can you suggest any specific dentist over there? I'm looking for Root Canal treatment. Also, is this treatment painful?

Dr Ranganath, Dentique, 8th Main, Malleswaram (next to Reliance Fresh) has an excellent team of dentists.

RCT is quite painful. The nerves in the tooth would be dead, and if left so, would start to rot. The treatment involves drilling the nerve canals, cleaning them, and filling them up with gutta-percha (rubber) rods, and sealing them.

You can also contact Dr.Azaj who has a clinic in Bannerghatta Road(opp Jayadeva Hospital). Contact no:9845824665.

RCT is not painful, the procedure looks scary though. I have got it done from Dr.Azaj and it was not that painful for me.
