RTO Agent info

Hi all,

I need to change registration of my car from some other state to Karnataka. Can someone suggest me an RTO agent who can help me with this? I'm yet to pay even road tax so i need someone who can help me in completing all formalities.

You could approach NAS driving school in Koramangala BDA complex. I have used their services, and they did what I asked for.

It might actually be easier and cheaper to do the job yourselves. I had to submit an affidavit for address proof for learner's driving license. The tout's price was Rs. 150 for an affidavit on a stamp paper of value Rs. 20/- and delivery within 30 mins after full payment. When I went to a public notary there and got the affidavit done without the help of the tout, it cost me Rs. 52/-, i.e., Stamp Paper from State Bank Of Mysore Rs. 20 + Bank Commission Rs. 2 + Rs. 30 fees of a public notary sitting at the Kormangala BDA complex to type on the stamp paper and attest my signature. Total time taken 1 hour, including the purchase of the stamp paper from SBM, BTM 2nd Stage after standing in two line for 15 mins each.

Moral: It takes a little more time than the tout, but the effort is worth it in terms of satisfaction and money spent.
