let me put my experience in st. john's. One of my apartment mate was suffering from terrible stomach ache in the night. We had to visit doctor immediately and somebody suggested st. johns and we went there at around 12am. Following are the list of checks written by the doctor in the emergency dept:
- chest X-ray ... not sure how stomach ache is related to chest
- all blood tests ... again not understood how issue is related to blood
- ultrasound test - make little sense
- etc
Funny part is ... by the time diagnose is done (time 2am) patient forgot his stomach ache and said 'let us go home'. We had to wait for >30 mts (Dr. went to canteen for tea ) for doctor to come and tell us what the issue was.
Doctor at last said nothing wrong with the patient except little lever enlargement and bill amount was Rs.1500+.
St. johns treatment is prolonged one ... you get feeling that Dr.'s are doing some research on you.
Personal Recommendation : Not to go to St. Johns for treatment
